Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities: Manage revenue processes from order entry to invoicing within SAP. Post monthly revenue accruals and perform revenue reconciliations. Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable, including AR ageing analysis. Process SAP postings related to accruals, prepayments, and asset transfers. Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis. Collaborate on monthly and quarterly management accounts, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as needed. Provide support in invoice processing and accounts payable activities. Assist in the preparation of VAT returns. Support banking administration and cash flow processes. Reconcile intercompany balance sheet accounts. Contribute to forecast and budget preparations related to operating expenses. Assist with external audit procedures. Additional Responsibilities: Remain flexible and assist across Group Finance with ad hoc tasks and project work as required. Identify operational, system, or equipment anomalies and help implement corrective actions. Provide support with non-finance-related activities when necessary. Requirements: Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a finance role. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is desirable but not essential. Proficient user of SAP. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
