Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Employment Specialist IPS located in Sligo, with some work from home accepted. The Employment Specialist IPS will provide vocational assessment, job development, and individualized support to individuals seeking employment. Responsibilities include building relationships with local employers, preparing clients for work, matching clients to suitable job opportunities, and providing ongoing support to ensure job retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Experience in vocational assessment, job development, and individualized support
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Experience with community-based programs and initiatives
* Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Vocational Rehabilitation, or related field
* Knowledge of local labor market and employment trends is a plus
