Lead Software Engineer – Java

We're hiring a Lead Software Engineer to play a key role in building core components of a modern cloud-based solution. You'll work on cutting-edge technologies, collaborating closely with architecture, DevOps, and cross-functional delivery teams to deliver impactful solutions.
What You'll Do:
* Design and develop clean, scalable, and maintainable backend systems using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
* Contribute to architectural decisions and advocate for best practices across DevOps, CI/CD, and microservice design.
* Build and maintain cloud-native applications deployed on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.
* Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Maven, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes-native solutions.
* Drive automated testing practices (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure code quality and system reliability.
* Help implement and maintain secure coding principles and optimize systems for performance and cloud scalability.
* Contribute to a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong team culture of inclusion and improvement.
What You Bring:
* 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Java and the Spring framework.
* Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
* Knowledge of secure software design, performance tuning, and building for scalability in the cloud.
* A strategic thinker with the ability to balance technical quality and rapid delivery.
* Experience working in Agile teams with a strong focus on continuous improvement and DevOps culture.
* Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
* A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
