Position: IT Administrator

Location: Kilkenny

Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 1 year

Overview of role:

The IT Administrator will assist the IT Manager on the day-to-day support, troubleshooting, testing and implementation of new hardware and software. The role will assist in providing technical support and assist in the maintenance of the Company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical support to end users. Helpdesk Level 1 and 2.

* Enrol mobile devices in Microsoft Intune.

* Manage the stock and assignment of mobile devices and sim cards.

* Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware, software and operating systems.

* Create, manage and update user accounts, permissions and access rights.

* Support onboarding and exit process of employees (device set ups and access).

* Troubleshoot common hardware, software and connectivity issues.

* Assist with routine server and network tasks.

* Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and configurations.

* Adhere to IT policies, security standards, GDPR and best practices.

Essential Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

* Working towards or achievement of a formal qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field would be advantageous but not essential.

* Previous experience in an IT support, technical or helpdesk role.

* Good communication skills and customer-focused approach.

* Ability to follow structured troubleshooting procedures to resolve issues.

* Fluent in spoken and written English.
