Automotive Technician Position
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a range of Ford and SEAT vehicles. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* To diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach.
* To repair and service vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
* To maintain a high level of knowledge on the latest vehicle technology and diagnostic techniques.
* To work effectively as part of a team, liaising with colleagues and supervisors as needed.
* To ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices and adhering to relevant health and safety procedures.
**Requirements:**
* Qualified to a relevant standard, holding recognized certification.
* Familiarity with Ford and SEAT brands.
* Competent in the use of diagnostic equipment.
* Able to complete work in a timely manner, with strong attention to detail.
* Able to work as part of a team.
* Good communication skills.
* Computer literate, with familiarity with Kerridge/CDK systems preferred.
* A full driving license with zero penalty points.
