Paediatric Community Nurse - Dublin West
Fantastic opportunity to enhance and engage your Nursing skills & join our Nurse-led Home Support Nursing team in Dublin West. Currently seeking full-time and part-time night shift nurses in Dublin West.
Responsibilities
* Provide nursing care to a child
* Gastrostomy tube feeds via feeding pump
* Competent in all tracheostomy care, changing of ties, suctioning and changing tube in an emergency situation
* Management and administration of nebs and suctioning
* Monitoring for signs and symptoms of respiratory distress
* Pressure area care
* Medication Management
* Seizure management
* Care of a child with a disability
* Manage enteral feeding and medication
* Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
* Manage seizures
* Provide play and family support
* Provide excellent evidence-based nursing care, implementing all aspects of care plans based on the needs identified
* Prioritise the needs and comfort of the client
* Promote abilities, independence, and safeguard the client's interests at all times
* Work closely in partnership with family members and the clinical team
* Communicate effectively with the client, family, clinical team, and MDT, reporting on the client's clinical needs as required
* Maintain accurate and professional clinical notes

Qualifications & Experience
* Current registration on the live register of NMBI
* RGN/RCN trained
* Paediatric nursing experience is desirable
* Previous experience in home care is an advantage, full training and support provided
Benefits

* Sunday €45 per hour
