Responsibilities
Ensure the golf course is properly laid out and prepared for members and guests, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi‑rough.
Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, emptying bins, and clearing surfaces of debris.
Check machinery before use, fuel after use, and report any irregularities to the head greenkeeper or line manager.
Repair divots on playing surfaces.
Water and irrigate turf.
Identify and control weeds and pests.
Mark hazards, out‑of‑bounds, and ground under repair.
Maintain trees and shrubs throughout the golf course.
Communicate effectively with all team members and golfers on the course.
Understand and adhere to Comer Group Ireland’s H&S policies and procedures.
Ensure guest security and privacy is maintained at all times.
Operate and maintain machinery and tools.
Qualifications
Must have at least one year of experience in a similar role.
Own method of transport is essential.
