PRODUCTION OPERATIVEPURPOSE OF ROLEWater Technology is an Irish owned indigenous business who have been manufacturing cleaning detergents, food ingredients and specialist chemicals in the dairy, food and beverage sector for over 40 years.We are looking for a Production Operative to join our busy team in Togher, Cork.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESBlending detergents, hazardous chemicals, water treatment products and food ingredients as per S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedure) / Formulation.Take instruction from Senior Production Operative, as assigned.Always maintain a clean workplace.Labelling containers and filling off product.Completion of Production Records-Job I.D. Cards, Production Logs, Cleaning Records etc.Ensure mixing tank cleanliness after each batch produced.Maintaining stock levels of raw materials needed for Production and advising Production Manager when stock needs to be ordered.Liaising with Production Manager in timely fashion on safety issues, if breakdowns occur, or repairs are needed.Washing IBC's and maintaining IBC Wash Log.Movement of raw materials and finished products within the site using forklifts and other material handling equipment.Wrapping and strapping finished goods on pallets prior to dispatch.Daily forklift checks prior to use to assure driver safety and maintenance of equipmentEnsure all protocols are adhered to ensure the Safety of all employees.Fully adhere to all Health and Safety, EHS regulations, as instructed.Full co-operation in assisting with meeting Production KPI's.Any additional duties, as assigned.THE INDIVIDUALHighly organised and able to work on own initiative.Team playerPositive attitude and willingness to learn and get stuck inGood communicatorComfortable working outside in different weather conditionsSafety focused with a respect for Health and Safety standards.A good command of the English language, essential.Full Clean Driver's Licence, essential.Valid Work Permit, essential.EXPERIENCEPrevious forklift experience preferable but not essentialPrevious chemical experience preferable but not essentialBENEFITSGood benefits package provided including Company Pension Scheme, Death In Service, EAP & Income Protection.All training will be provided along with the opportunity for further education.Job Type: Full-timePay: €13.50-€17.00 per hourBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsCompany pensionOn-site parkingSick payApplication question(s):Do you have previous experience working with chemicals?
