Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all workshop operations including planning, scheduling, and coordinating repairs and refurbishments.Supervise workshop staff and ensure tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained and repaired to company and industry standards.Conduct diagnostics, inspections, and quality control checks.Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and consumables, and liaise with suppliers as needed.Implement and enforce health and safety standards within the workshop.Provide technical support and advice to team members and occasionally to customers.Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality standards for all workshop projects.Report regularly to senior management on workshop performance, issues, and improvements.Key RequirementsProven experience in a workshop management or supervisory role.Background in steel fabrication is essential.Solid general knowledge of mechanical machinery, particularly recycling and waste handling equipment is an advantage.Strong leadership and organisational skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Good problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Full driving licence.Job Type: Full-timePay: €50,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
