Medical Secretary / Administrator Limerick
Our client is based in Limerick, are looking to hire an experienced Medical Secretary to join their expanding team on a contract basis initially.
The Role:
As Medical Secretary/ Administrator you will have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements.
The ideal candidate will have 1- 2 years plus experience working in a similar role, within a medicalpractice or Hospital fast-paced environment, and is looking for an opportunity to work in a wonderful team environment.
Responsibilities to include:
* Ensuring all patients are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
* Booking of appointments,
* Dealing with correspondences from GP's,
* Processing medical claim forms
* Maintaining patient records with confidentiality
* Prepare & process medical documents & reports this also includes Dictaphone typing.
Your Skills/ Experience that we need:
* Must have 1-2+ years of experience in a similar role within a medical practice or aHospital setting.
* Must have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements.
* Strong IT and Data Processing skills with excellent typing skills are essential.
* Dictaphone typing is an advantage
* Polite and clear telephone manner.
The Offer:
This position is a contract role paying €18.82 per hour working 35 hours per week with 28 days annual leave.
