Associate – NTMA Finance (FTO)
Overview
The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government. NTMA manages borrowing, the National Debt, State Claims Agency, New Economy and Recovery Authority, Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, National Development Finance Agency and the NTMA Future Ireland Funds business unit. The Finance division supports statutory and performance reporting and transactions across all NTMA business areas.

Responsibilities
* Assist in the review and preparation of payment runs, building an understanding of the control environment over such processes.
* Reconcile bank and other accounts as part of the Finance Operations team.
* Gain experience in loan administration and review and process NTMA staff expenses.
* Assist with processing State Claims Agency payments, including invoicing and managing related debtors.
* Assist with the oversight of the general ledger, reviewing transactions for appropriate classification.
* Assist with month‑end reconciliation processes.
* Assist with the preparation of internal and external reporting to stakeholders.
Learning & Development
Associates complete professional exams such as ACA, ACCA or tax courses and receive the full range of NTMA support, detailed associate training, and an associate network across NTMA.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2.1 honours degree or 2.1 Masters in Accountancy, Commerce, Finance, Business or related discipline.
* Applicants must have the correct legal status to work in Ireland (Irish Citizen, EEA Citizen, Stamp 4, Stamp 1G Visa).
* Strong analytical, commercial mindset, diligence and flexibility to adapt to changing responsibilities.
