Our Client, a leading diagnostics company based in Clare, is seeking a Senior Manager Production Operations (Value Stream) to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. Role Details: Position Level: M3, leading the fill side operations. Team: Overseeing approx. 33 people, including three managers and a Quality Specialist. Focus Products: Key areas include immunoassays and blood virus diagnostics. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead the manufacturing team and interface with other support functions to support the daily value stream activities in supporting customer needs by ensuring product flow from raw material receipt to shipping finished product. Develop, maintain and report on key performance metrics (+QDIP) for the respective Value Stream and associated departments. Determine staffing plan of manufacturing personnel and equipment utilisation to meet the value stream production schedules. Ensure that all operations within the value stream are performed and adhere to GMP, Quality System Regulations to EHS requirements. Attract, recruit, develop, train and retain manufacturing team resources and complete performance appraisals and execution of individual development plans. Liaise with other cross functional teams for the introduction of new products, processes and supporting cross functional site projects. Manage and report on value stream and manufacturing department budgets and costs. Lead and participate in DBS events and drive daily management for respective value stream using DBS format and standard work practices. Lead and participate in operations projects Leverage technical expertise and problem solving skills to root cause and implement sustainable corrective actions to address gaps in key performance metrics and quality system requirements. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's Degree with 14+ years experience OR Master's degree with 7+ years experience (related experience includes 4+ years managing people) Strong Quality Systems knowledge and experience of interacting with auditors Lean/Six Sigma experience, certified Kaizen leaders in DBS and demonstrated capability in problem solving highly desirable Leadership skills to positively influence and motivate others, ability to develop strong team culture across functions and systems thinking capability Strong two-way communicator to present information in concise and clear manner. Ability to openly share information, engage and listen to other perspectives in developing solutions.
