We are recruiting a Technical Maintenance Assistant to join the team at on of our client sites located in Galway.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a support service to the site as part of the maintenance team ensuring maintenance and repairs are carried out in compliance to relevant standard.
Role Summary: Respond to emergency breakdowns across the site when required Working knowledge of the following systems: Gas boilers, Heating hot water boilers, HVAC systems, CRAC units, refrigeration systems, waste management, Fire Alarm, UPS.
Repair equipment, plant etc.
as quickly and safely as possible while adhering to all safety systems Carry out work orders generated through the CMMS system to meet service level agreements.
Carry out Patch/Paint works as assigned Assist with the ordering of supplies as needed for day-to-day operations and projects Carry out routine planned, corrective and preventative maintenance tasks Ensure documentation of maintenance activities to ISO standards where necessary Must be flexible and assist the IFM functional lead and lead technician in any maintenance activities, available to work overtime on request etc.
Follow safe systems of work, knowledge and understanding of LOTO, taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others.
Eliminating or reducing risks where practicable by complying with site safety rules and instructions and reporting hazards to management for prompt action Liaise with vendors, project teams as well client support functions Support all mailroom, logistics, stationery, distribution, porterage, services as required Must have a clean drivers licence Must be willing to support the site out of hours and form part of the on-call Rota Assist with office moves and changes (including required Space support tasks, where Applicable) Contribute to meeting and exceeding client KPIs Manage and supervise sub-contractors on site in adherence with CBRE policies/procedures Be willing to undertake further training as instructed by your line manager e.g.
PAT Testing, Legionella Awareness Training Experience Required: Formal mechanical / electrical apprenticeship desirable 3yrs + experience in a similar role Knowledge of CMMS/Work Order systems Views problems as a challenge to generate new ideas Proactively developing customer relationships by making efforts to listen to and understand customer/client requirements (internal and external) Demonstrates a diplomatic personal style in addressing customer needs.
