Job Title: Production Operator
Department: Production
Reporting To: Production Supervisor/Team Leader
Direct Reports: N/A
Objectives of the Position
1. Quality: Ensure all products are assembled, tested, and handled according to documented specifications and processes, maintaining high quality standards and compliance with all requirements.
2. Productivity: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to produce the correct quantity of products as per production plans, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
3. Teamwork: Participate actively as part of a team committed to total customer satisfaction, contributing positively during each workday.
Responsibilities
* Time Keeping: Be at your workstation for shift changeovers prior to the departure of the previous shift.
* Attendance: Arrive on time for your shift and be available for assigned tasks.
* Quality: Follow all processes, instructions, and specifications, paying attention to customer requirements and safety practices.
* Teamwork: Work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve goals.
* Productivity: Meet set targets within designated timeframes to ensure customer delivery.
* Dress Code: Wear appropriate protective equipment such as ESD coats and safety glasses within your work area.
* Communication: Report issues promptly and share improvement ideas to enhance team performance.
* Attitude: Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude at all times.
* Measurement: Performance will be regularly reviewed based on key categories like timekeeping, quality, productivity, teamwork, attitude, initiative, creativity, communication, and development potential.
* Customer Focus: Strive to provide the highest quality products and services to internal and external customers.
* Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with quality standards and health & safety regulations.
Measurements
Performance metrics will be tracked against plant objectives and annual appraisal criteria.
