Job Description:
The role of a senior IT professional in shaping access control systems is pivotal. By overseeing the development and management of secure, role-based access profiles that align with clinical, administrative, and operational workflows, one ensures compliance with privacy regulations, security policies, and audit requirements.
This position serves as an application champion at the group level, ensuring alignment of system functionality with various stakeholders and associated clinical and business workflow requirements.
Strategic and tactical leadership is provided for this workstream, ensuring alignment with clinical operations, financial systems, and overall programme goals.
As a subject matter expert in access control functions, the individual ensures a smooth, efficient, and sustainable transformation of these operations and associated functions.
Responsibilities include:
* Delivering the new access control workstream within scope and governance.
* Establishing project teams and collaborating with other clinical workstream leads.
* Managing end-user experience, modules, milestone tracking, and workstream reporting.
* Leading decision-making to resolve issues impacting your workstream.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, security, or EHR access management.
* Knowledge of privacy/security standards and audit practices in healthcare.
* Experience with EHR implementation, security planning, or user provisioning systems.
* Strong coordination, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
* Analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills working across clinical and operational teams.
