Sam Dennigan & Company uc, one of the largest Irish owned fresh produce and logistics company based in North County Dublin, are currently recruiting for an experiencedFull-timeHuman Resource Officerto join our payroll team.Normal working hours:39-hour week Monday to Friday 9am - 5pmRole based on siteMain Duties and Responsibilities:Act as point of contact for Recruitment Agencies in relation to supply of contract staffCo-ordinate new hires Induction and Health & Safety training, working closely with H&S department.Co-ordination and support for employee's life cycle - Pre-employment screening, conduct first round interviews, offer/regrets, contracts, induction, transfers, T&D, absence management, exit management etc.Co-ordinate, conduct and compile reports for investigations, disciplinary & grievance meetings, support in relation to employee relations issues, grievances and disciplinary issues.Maintaining information on the TMS system to ensure accuracy of data, ensure correct paperwork provided for all absencesSupport to the payroll team as requiredCompile data access requests in line with relevant GDPR legislation and update GDPR dashboards as required.Employee file management, update staff induction packs, employee handbooks as required.HR Reporting and update HR trackers on a weekly basisDealing with day-to-day HR queries as they arise and administrative support to the HR function including the production and administration of general letters, and filing.Provide advice to employees and managers/ supervisors on company policy as it relates to HR policies and proceduresSkills / RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:Experience in HR in FMCG or Warehouse / Logistics environment an advantageTime and Attendance Management / HRIS systems experience an advantageDegree in Human Resource Management or working towardsC.I.P.D qualified or working towards am advantageExcellent knowledge of employment law an advantageProven ability to work within a teamHigh level IT skills including excellent ability in all MS Office applicationsExcellent communication & inter-personal skillsExcellent Spoken and Written EnglishAbility to multitask, prioritise and work on own initiativeBenefits:Onsite parkingCompetitive Rate of PayEmployee Assistant ProgrammeAdditional Annual Leave based on service yearsSam Dennigan & is an eqwual opportunities employer
