Site Management Position
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our construction projects.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Management or similar role.
The ideal candidate will have a background in modular, offsite, or panelised construction and a proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale projects.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Attend initial site visit and assessment.
2. Ensure a Dilapidation Survey is carried out and recorded.
3. Issues all site requisitions for materials in a timely fashion as per the requisition procedure.
4. Review and approval of all RAMs.
5. Coordinating subcontractor attendance to site and ensure works are completed in the correct sequence in accordance with the Target Schedule.
6. Schedule and monitor progress against both Contract and Internal Construction Programme and notify management of any delays or other concerns.
7. Provision and input of data to facilitate the progressing of the Project Schedule each week.
8. Setting to Work:
* Completion of Site Inductions.
* Site opening times: 07:30 to 17:30.
* Completion of Daily Whiteboard with contractors, ensuring all works are coordinated, key risks with mitigating control measured identified, all deliveries coordinated. Monitoring progress.
* Review and approval of SPA at Whiteboard Meeting.
* Review and approval of all permits – Hot works, ladder, Roof Access, Excavation Permits.
* Completion of plant arrival inspections, certificates, daily or weekly inspections, GA1s, GA2s.
Implementing Health and Safety, Quality and Environment policy and procedures at site level.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication when dealing with all stakeholders.
Team player who can interrelate with other departments.
Ensuring that all aspects of the Construction Management Plan are implemented.
Ensuring that the site organisation is maintained to a high standard, as per the logistics plan.
Ensuring housekeeping is always kept to a high level.
Ensuring that exclusion zones and key interface areas are established, managed and always maintained.
Monitoring daily productivity on site including sub-contractor performance, resource levels and quality of works.
Ensuring that all daywork items are monitored, recorded and managed closely.
Attend all meetings relevant to the role of Site Manager.
Quality:
* Complete site diary.
* Ensure completion of ITRs for completed elements of work by contractor and approve if completed.
* Communicate and ensure sign-off of Quality Indication.
* Escorting Client and Consultants when completing Site Inspections Reports.
* Works together with Site Engineer in NCR, Snag and BCAR Snag closure.
