Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) for Vantage Towers – Ireland – Dublin, County Dublin. Join Europe’s leading tower company as we accelerate a sustainably connected Europe. Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Vantage legal team across all business functions and programmes, advising on all general legal issues and providing strategic input in all business‑related matters including risk, corporate, competition, employment, commercial, compliance and conveyancing.
* Manage day‑to‑day activities of the legal team, supporting the Senior Management Team and the Group Legal Function where necessary.
* Draft, review, negotiate and advise the business on all key commercial contracts and other documents, including property documents, NDAs, master service agreements and procurement agreements.
* Promote best practice and process reviews, updating existing template documents such as landlord agreements, customer agreements, framework agreements and other commercial contracts.
* Support and manage legal risks across the company.
* Review, refine and design all necessary and appropriate policies and procedures.
* Lead Vantage’s Company Secretarial function, including preparation of key approval documents.
* Lead legal compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
* Deal with disputes and advise the business in respect of contentious matters or litigation.
* Liaise with external law firms for specialist property or litigation legal advice.
* Provide legal advice on privacy, technology, compliance, GDPR and employment issues to senior management, business teams or the Vantage Group Central Legal Team as required.
Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years PQE, experience in conveyancing, commercial property and property‑related litigation, ideally blending private practice and in‑house experience.
* Previous telecommunications industry experience is desirable but not essential.
* Strong drafting skills and competency in all types of commercial contracts, including property‑related legal documents.
* Excellent communication skills, judgment, discretion and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong commercial awareness, IT and Microsoft Office skills, and planning/organisational skills.
