Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to take ownership of a varied portfolio of key customers, to shape a strategy and deliver growth across our over-the-counter (OTC) medicines portfolio.
This role will own the commercial relationship with key customers, leads joint business planning, optimises distribution and visibility, and ensures execution excellence across launches.
The ideal candidate combines strong account leadership, analytical rigor and deep knowledge of retailer dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Account & Business Management
Develop and execute annual joint business plans with key customers
Deliver sales, gross margin, distribution and market share targets.
Identify growth levers including NPD listings, shelf optimisation and secondary placements.
Customer Relationship Leadership
Build senior-level relationships with buying groups, category managers and store operators.
Act as the primary point of contact for all commercial matters.
Represent the voice of the customer internally.
Execution & Activation
Ensure flawless execution of launches and visibility programs.
Coordinate with field sales teams to maximise in-store impact.
Monitor stock levels, forecast accuracy and replenishment.
Analytics & Insights
Use sell-in/sell-out data, category trends and ROI analysis to shape proposals.
Provide regular performance reviews and actionable recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regulatory teams to deliver plans.
Contribute to launch readiness and go-to-market strategies.
Candidate Profile
Experience
6–10 years of sales or key account management experience within pharmaceuticals or consumer health.
Proven track record managing relationships across the pharmacy and FMCG channels
Demonstrated success in negotiations and delivering revenue growth.
Skills
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Advanced analytical capability with comfort using sales data.
Experience providing business plans and ROI calculations.
Self-starter with strong planning and organisational discipline.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.
