Site Manager Public Works Project (County Tipperary) Position: Site Manager Location: County Tipperary, Ireland Start Date: November 2025 Employment Type: Full-Time) Salary:€70-80k About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of a public works construction project in County Tipperary, scheduled to commence in November 2025.

The Site Manager will take full responsibility for site operations, ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with public sector regulations and standards.
?Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities Supervise contractors, direct labour, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow Ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and public procurement standards Implement and maintain robust health, safety, and environmental practices Liaise with project managers, local authorities, design teams, and stakeholders Track project timelines and budgets, and report on progress to senior management Keep detailed records including daily site diaries, inspections, and HSE documentation Conduct regular site meetings and ensure open communication among all parties Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in a Site Manager or similar supervisory role on civil or public works projects Relevant construction or engineering qualification (e.g., Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent) Excellent understanding of Irish building regulations, health & safety legislation, and local authority compliance Proven ability to manage multiple contractors and workstreams Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling Full clean driving licence What We Offer Lead role on a key public infrastructure project in County Tipperary Competitive salary and benefits package Supportive project management team and career development opportunities A chance to contribute meaningfully to your local community CSRTK
