Our company is seeking an experienced Bridge Leader to manage their Bridges Division.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of bridge engineers and oversee project delivery.
* Develop business strategies and tender bids for professional services contracts.
* Conduct resource planning to ensure project success.
* Provide design input and oversee the structural aspects of projects.
* Manage medium and large-sized projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are delivered.
* Effectively communicate with internal and external parties, including clients and stakeholders.
* Mentor and develop junior team members.
Requirements:
* Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Minimum 15 years of experience as Bridge / Senior Bridge Engineer.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking, with a flexible approach.
* Proven ability to lead projects from a technical perspective.
* Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
* Previous staff management experience.
* Proactive approach with a track record of delivering high-quality services to clients.
* Extensive knowledge and experience in bridge design, inspection, assessment, and rehabilitation.
* Proficient in Eurocodes and structural analysis software.
* Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
* Ireland and/or UK experience.
