Job Description
The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the transformation from manual processes to advanced automated systems in data analysis and process development.
This exciting position entails the comprehensive design, execution, and successful implementation of a state-of-the-art data management system aimed at significantly enhancing operational efficiency.
By reducing errors, increasing production capacity, giving real-time insights on resource planning and improving responsiveness to customer needs, this project seeks to streamline processes and build robust communication lines through effective use of data.
The primary objective of this initiative is to develop workflows, seamlessly integrate data management tools, and refine supply processes to effectively meet the demands of a rapidly growing market.
In this capacity, the Project Manager will coordinate cross-departmental data transfer and manipulation, ensuring that all teams work harmoniously towards common goals.
Moreover, the role involves meticulously managing elements of cybersecurity and data storage.
To succeed in this dynamic environment, the Project Manager must possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills, and a solid foundation in data system development methodologies.
This position is not only crucial for the growth of Duggan Veterinary in a fast-moving market but also for fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
The successful graduate will
lead
this project, in a supportive partnership with Southern Regional College as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme.
Interviews will be held approximately week commencing: 12/01/2026
Degree in Data Analysis, Systems Development or similar.
1 year of demonstrable practical experience in System Development / Data role.
Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland/EU and travel throughout the island of Ireland if required; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Ireland/EU you must upload a copy of it with your application.
Failure to provide a relevant Visa/Work permit will result in your application not being considered.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
Experience in the use of APIs and business systems integration.
Experience in data visualisation software, e.g. Power BI.
Experience with the implementation of Cybersecurity principles.
Experience with Veterinary Products preferred but not essential.
Familiar with Procurement / Sales procedures.
