Production Operations Leadership Role
This leadership position oversees the overall performance of a sawmill site, encompassing production, maintenance, and environmental/safety/quality aspects. Key objectives include promoting a safe work environment, driving productivity improvements through short-term projects, and aligning production strategies with business goals.
Main Responsibilities:
* Foster a culture of operational excellence to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Develop and implement effective production plans to maximize output efficiency.
* Monitor production performance against predetermined targets to identify areas for improvement.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
* Possession of a degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Plant/Site Manager or similar role.
* Knowledge of lean principles, good manufacturing practices, and industry best practices.
