About The RoleJob Title: Assistant Site Manager Healthcare ROI CorkLocation: Mercy University HospitalThe objective of this role is to provide operational support and leadership to the Site Management Team to ensure that we our services are delivered to the highest standards and in accordance with all hospital and company policies and procedures.OperationalTo ensure all cleaning standards, as defined in the agreement between the hospital and Bidvest Noonan Services, are met consistentlyTo ensure compliance with HIQA StandardsTo participate in Environmental Management Audits with hospital Ward/Dept ManagersTo implement the QIP following hospital management audits.To complete monthly audits of areas as directed by Site ManagerTo ensure implementation of corrective action including re-auditTo improve standards, which may have failed in previous auditsTo meet and liaise with the hospital ward/dept managers, either on a scheduled basis or as requiredTo proactively solicit feedback from ept Managers in respect of hygiene and cleaning standardsStaffingTo complete/assist in staff rosters, in accordance with the budgetTo proactively manage the performance of staff within the contract in accordance with company Policy and ProceduresTo ensure that staff records are maintained correctly.To Handle Investigations, Disciplinary, Grievances and conduct performance reviews with staff.To mentor and provide leadership and guidance to staff.To complete staff attendance records, ensuring hours claimed accurately reflect hours workedTo support Site Trainer in the training of new staff in accordance with BIC'S standard as required and keep training recordsTo complete competency assessments on an annual basis with all staff and records are keptFinancialTo manage the budget on behalf of the company, i.e. staff, materials and equipmentTo put secure systems in place providing for appropriate storage of all equipment and materialsQuality, Health & SafetyTo take responsibility for Health and Safety Procedures on site on behalf of the companyTo ensure compliance with company ISO quality systems and proceduresTo carry out Risk Assessments in accordance with above proceduresTo allow the safety representatives carry out inspections as required within the working dayTo ensure that all safety data sheets are up to date and filed/displayed correctlyTo check that all equipment is appropriately labelled and PAT tested.To review requests for repairs and liaise with appropriate hospital personnel in respect of sameTo ensure hospital waste is handled in accordance with hospital infection control policyGeneralTo carry out all other reasonable requests as they arise from time to timeProvide support to the Site Manager, in the development of a good working relationship and excellent standards of service delivery to the client on site.To create and update SOP for cleaning tasks on site.To review and adapt site schedules to best meet the operational needs of the site.To represent the company in a professional manner at all timesTo attend training programmes and meetings as arranged from time to timeTo ensure all company information is kept secure and treated confidentiallyTo observe all Hospital Policies & ProceduresTo liaise with Company Divisions, i.e. Industrial Division, as required in respect of special requests.
