We are looking for a full-time Duty Manager on a Fixed-Term basis to join our management team at Aura Drogheda from November 2025 to 31st May 2026, with the possibility to be extended to September 2026.

Responsibilities
As a Duty Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day management of the centre. On shift you will have accountability for planning, organising and directing all daily centre activities while ensuring members\' needs are met and exceeded.
* Behave as a role model for everyone and demonstrate commitment to our vision, purpose and values
* Maintain a high standard of customer service
* Operate shifts to ensure all areas are covered and duties are completed
* Performance manage and mentor the team to uphold excellent operational standards
* Deliver high standards of health and safety in line with policies and procedures
* Ensure effective communication regarding operation and day-to-day running of the centre
* Maintain presentation and cleanliness of the centre
* Be an Aura ambassador and represent the company professionally
Requirements / Qualifications
* Must have previous experience in a leadership role
* RLSS Pool Lifeguard or IWS Pool Lifeguard qualification or willing to complete within 6 months of employment (internal training provided)
* Ability to delegate, follow up on results, provide feedback, coach and develop the team
* Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
* Ability to prioritise multiple tasks
* Knowledge of the leisure industry is advantageous but not essential
* Positive, results-oriented attitude with willingness to learn
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)
* Commercial awareness and target focus
* High standards in health & safety and customer service
* Initiative and problem-solving skills
* Swim Teacher, Fitness Instructor and Pool Plant qualifications are an advantage
* Flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays and weekends
