Asset Engineer – Engineering & SustainabilityDue to an increased work load this organisation has created a new role for an Equipment and Asset Engineer to join the Engineering function, supporting the maintenance and optimisation of critical infrastructure across a diverse operational environment. You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operational teams to ensure asset reliability, safety, and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Data ManagementManage day‑to‑day administration of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) & Record Management and maintain an accurate, structured asset register.Support project handovers by ensuring asset information, documentation, and maintenance requirements are complete and fully integrated.Create and maintain preventive maintenance tasks, standards, and work instructions.Ensure all corrective and preventive activities are properly recorded and coordinated through the CMMS.Performance MonitoringAnalyse maintenance and asset performance using CMMS KPIs.Identify trends, risks, and reliability issues to support continuous improvement.Contribute to reliability‑centred maintenance, data integrity reviews, and audit activities.Maintenance Data & PlanningMaintain accurate data on labour, materials, costs, and contractor activity.Conduct asset condition assessments and support risk‑based maintenance and lifecycle strategies.Provide reliable asset and cost insights to inform budget planning.Regulatory & ComplianceMaintain high‑quality asset data to support regulatory obligations and audits.Develop asset criticality ratings, preventive strategies, Bills of Materials, and resilience measures.Track and report performance metrics ensuring strong governance and compliance.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, etc.3–5 years' experience in maintenance, reliability, or asset management roles.Strong organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Ability to interpret technical drawings and standards.High level of computer proficiency and fluent English.Full Irish driving licence.You must be legally able to work in Ireland.Desirable:Equiment and Asset management qualificationExperience with CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., Maximo, Pemac, SAP PM)Background in heavy industry, maritime, oil & gas, or similar sectorsKnowledge of ISO 55000 and contractor/permit-to-work systemsRewards:Along with a competitve salary range the following are on offer:Annual Leave: 25 Days per year plus Bank holidaysPensionAnnual flu and Covid vaccinations; a full health screening every two years5 Days a week on site and there is flexibile working : Monday – Friday, Start between 7am–10am and finish 3pm – 6pm.If you are interested to know more please apply and we can discuss.
