Job Summary: The HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources Department and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR functions. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, employee support, and HR program coordination, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of HR principles and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding Support: oAssist with the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job advertisements, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. oPrepare offer letters and new hire paperwork. oCoordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. oMaintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) on our HRIS. HR Administration and Record Keeping: oMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. oProcess HR-related documentation, such as new hires, promotions and terminations. oGenerate HR reports as needed (e.g., headcount, turnover, training). oManage HR filing systems and ensure data confidentiality. Employee Relations and Support: oAct as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. oAssist in resolving employee issues and escalating complex matters to the Head of HR.. oSupport the organisation of employee engagement activities and events. Benefits Administration Support: oAssist with the administration of employee benefits programs (e.g. pensions, leave management). oHelp employees with benefits enrolment and queries. HR Programme Co-ordination: oSupport the co-ordination of training and development programmes. oAssist with performance management processes. oContribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Compliance and Policy Adherence: oEnsure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. oCommunicate and reinforce company policies and procedures. General HR Support: oPrepare HR-related correspondence and presentations. oAssist with HR audits and data collection. oUndertake any other duties as required to support the HR Department. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an HR Administrator or Co-ordinator role. Technical Skills: oProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). oExperience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) is highly desirable. oGood working knowledge of Irish Employment Law. Key Competencies: oExcellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff. oOrganisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. oAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail is a must. oConfidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. oProblem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving. oTeam Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. oAdaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment. oInitiative: Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and taking initiative.
