Executive Culinary Team Member
We are seeking an accomplished Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the Head Chef and General Manager in leading the kitchen, maintaining exceptional standards, and ensuring food safety.
* The successful candidate will assist with menu development, planning, and implementation, working closely with the Executive Head Chef to ensure seamless execution.
* They will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining high kitchen standards, cost control, stock rotation, and efficiency, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
* A key aspect of this role is fostering a positive culture within the team, promoting cooperation and respect among colleagues.
* The Sous Chef will manage service periods, ensuring that high standards are consistently maintained throughout each shift.
* Furthermore, they will ensure all administrative requirements are followed, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role is essential for this position.
* Candidates should possess excellent leadership skills, able to mentor and coach junior team members, driving growth and development within the team.
* Strong communication and organizational skills are also crucial, as well as the ability to stay up-to-date with current trends in health and nutrition.
