Chemco Ireland Limited are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our strong, committed, and reliable team.This role is based with our logistics team in Damastown Industrial Park. This team operates on a 4 days on and 4 days off shift pattern rotation.As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for the safe handling of materials in and out of the warehouse. Additionally, you will be responsible for the efficient acceptance, recording, put-away and storage of all products arriving on site.Continuous maintenance of the highest standards of safety, quality and housekeeping is also required, and you will be expected to participate and contribute to the continuous improvement of activities and training within the Operations Team.ResponsibilitiesPick, inspect and load customer orders while adhering to strict Safety and Quality requirementsEnsure that all load preparations are carried out to the highest standard and that all pre-delivery checks are carried out in fullEnsure all loading and unloading of product is carried out in a safe and timely manner, and all pre-checks are carried out prior to loading or unloadingComplete tanker down-packing activitiesInspect all materials at Goods In, ensuring that all material complies with our Safety & Quality requirementsBe familiar with the Warehouse Management System (WMS) (scanners, printers) for Picking and Processing OrdersEnsure that strict Inventory Control Techniques are adhered to and ensure all material is scanned in and out correctlyCheck inbound load paperwork accompanying deliveries ensuring all details are correctWork with and support the Warehouse Administrators on a daily basisAt all times ensure every attempt is made to maintain the highest standards of Safety and Housekeeping in the Warehouse and Yard and that these areas are left in good condition at the end of every working dayEnsure that all materials that are stored in the racking system are secured, tidy and organised and segregated as per regulations HSG71Participate in the Inventory Control - Cycle Counting Procedure as requiredOperate safely and correctly all Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and their attachments. Ensuring all checks are carried out and documented prior to working, and any defects are reported to your supervisorReport any near misses/accidents/incidents as required by the company Health & Safety proceduresAttend and complete all scheduled applicable Training as requiredExperience RequiredExperience as a Warehouse OperativePrevious experience working with a WMS systemAny MHE experience or licenses (Fork Lift Truck, Narrow Aisle Machine, Pallet Truck etc) would be an advantageBe Process DrivenPro-active in communication skills between departmentsMust be able to follow detailed instructionsBe meticulous in your work with attention to detailReliable, hardworking and flexible, team player, fast learnerExcellent communication both verbal and comprehensionOur VisionEveryone at Chemco is united behind a vision of our company growing and evolving as we march towards the future.
