Early Years Teacher Opportunity
This role offers a unique chance to work with children with Autism, providing Individual Education plans and supporting their development. As an Early Years Teacher, you will be part of a team that aims to create a caring, fun, and safe environment for the children.
Our approach focuses on reducing inappropriate behaviours and increasing acceptable ones by following established protocols. You will promote the children's use of communication at all times and provide early intervention education to help them reach long-term goals. This includes teaching basic life skills, functional activities, and independence.
Your day-to-day tasks will include playing and interacting with the children, as well as supporting the teacher in the daily running of the class. You will also follow Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) behaviour plans for each child and capture related data, with full training provided.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Degree in a related area, such as Montessori Education, Primary Education, or Early Childcare and Education. Experience working with children or ABA experience is desirable. You must also be eligible to register with the Teaching Council of Ireland under the Further Education Section.
We offer part-time positions available for the Academic Year 2025/2026, with various locations across Naas Citywest Casa Caterina* City Centre Kentstown. Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:55-13:25 *09:25-13:55.
