Finance Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to lead our Irish business’s financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and performance of financial reporting, tax compliance, and treasury management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the monthly and year-end close process, delivering accurate management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Lead statutory accounts and act as primary liaison for external audits.
* Produce quarterly Board packs with insightful analysis and commentary.
* Manage cash flow, loans, securitisation reporting, and treasury operations.
* Oversee all Irish tax obligations including VAT, payroll tax, and corporation tax.
* Manage accounts payable, and receivable processes.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal audit reviews.
* Motivate and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Requirements:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with 3+ years PQE in industry.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness.
* Knowledge in financial reporting standards.
* Experience managing audits and working with external advisors.
* Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead with confidence.

About this role
This is a key position offering full accountability for the accuracy and performance of financial reporting, tax compliance, and treasury management. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for leading the financial side of our Irish business, including balance sheet integrity, audits, tax, treasury, and team leadership of one experienced assistant accountant.
