Duty Manager – Newly Opened 4-Star Hotel (Dublin)
We are recruiting an experienced Duty Manager for our client's newly opened 4-star hotel in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-renowned brand and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations when senior management is not on site.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Front Office and Guest Service, combined with proven leadership skills in a similar role.
Responsibilities
1. Act as the main point of contact for all hotel operations during assigned shifts.
2. Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure all departments run smoothly.
3. Coordinate and support teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance.
4. Lead and supervise Front Office and Guest Service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
5. Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally.
6. Monitor arrivals, departures, and VIP guests for seamless service.
7. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety, and brand standards.
8. Respond to emergencies and make critical decisions when required.
9. Prepare shift reports and communicate effectively with senior management.
10. Support training and development of team members.
Requirements
11. Previous experience as Duty Manager in a 4-star or similar hotel is essential.
12. Strong knowledge of Front Office operations and guest service standards.
13. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
14. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
15. Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS, POS) and Microsoft Office.
16. Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
