The successful candidate will work on a wide scope of Water and Wastewater Treatment projects across the Island of Ireland.
About the Project
We're seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Commissioning Engineer. The selected candidate will be required to travel to other sites, plants, and offices, working collaboratively with a diverse team of talented people and leading experts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commissioning of Water, Wastewater, and Sludge treatment Plants, including setup/calibration of instrumentation, variable speed drives, alarm systems, and PLC input/output validation.
* Supervision of electrical and automation sub-contractors on sites, as well as mechanical sub-contractors when necessary.
* Ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with both contractual and specific process requirements.
* Assisting the manager with proposals and tendering activities.
* Liaising with clients and client representatives, carrying out FAT and SAT tests with their representative.
* Evaluating client specifications and ensuring works are constructed in compliance with these standards.
Requirements:
* NFQ Level 7 or above in Electrical Engineering or Qualified Electrician/E&I Technician.
* Previous experience in Electrical Supervision & Commissioning of Water/Waste Water Treatment plants.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Excellent oral and written reporting skills.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
* Ability to work under pressure to deliver project objectives.
