An exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a new start-up organisation based in Tipperary on a permanent contract. This role will suit someone coming from an electrical background who has solid experience in the installation and qualification of machinery and equipment. This role will involve frequent travel to customer sites.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for installation and commissioning of new equipment which includes the execution and documentation of IQ, OQ, PQ (Installation, Operation and Performance Qualification) for systems supported by the business.
2. Service and maintain systems installed at customer sites.
3. Repair and test electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment associated with our product offering.
4. Assist in the design and development of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment associated with the continuous improvement program.
5. Actively participate in cross-functional team meetings and risk assessments (e.g. FMEA) in order to develop validation strategies.
6. Actively participate in areas such as 6S, lean principles, and GMP/GDP within the team.
7. Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order at all times throughout its lifecycle.
Role Requirements:
1. Trade qualification essential with level 7 in Engineering a distinct advantage.
2. 3 – 5 years Electrical/Mechanical machine build/support experience.
3. Previous Installation and Qualification of machinery and equipment is preferred.
4. Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
