Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product Researcher
This role involves the development of novel therapeutic solutions for cartilage regeneration. The researcher will work on the fabrication of three-dimensional gene-activated scaffolds, their characterization, and validation through in vitro and in vivo testing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and fabrication of scaffold architectures using 3D-printing technologies and lyophilisation
* Characterization of scaffold properties including mechanical testing and architecture assessment
* Development and characterization of nanoparticle-complexed genetic cargos (plasmid DNA, RNAi)
* Validation of ATMP biocompatibility through in vitro assays (e.g. chondrogenic tissue culture, cytotoxicity tests, rt-qPCR immunohistochemistry)
* In vivo implantation of ATMP and subsequent tissue analysis
Requirements:
* PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Immunology or a related field
* Demonstrate knowledge and expertise within the field (e.g. through publications, patents or research awards)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
What We Offer:
* Competitive compensation package
* Opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects
