About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join a multi-disciplinary engineering team delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This is a key leadership position responsible for managing the civil engineering scope of works from design through to construction, commissioning, and client handover.
The role offers the opportunity to lead high-value projects, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and contribute to the sustainable development of essential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead and manage the civil engineering and building scope of works across assigned projects.
·Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability standards.
·Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, process).
·Manage project performance including programme, budget, risk, and opportunity.
·Oversee procurement, subcontractor engagement, and cashflow management.
·Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to engineering staff.
·Contribute to tendering opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
·Promote a collaborative "one-team" culture across project teams.
Requirements
·Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Project Management role.
·Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8 Honours or equivalent).
·Experience in water and wastewater projects (preferred).
·Strong knowledge of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations.
·Proven experience in civil works including earthworks, concrete, pipelaying, and buildings.
·Skilled in programme management software (MS Project) and MS Office.
·Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
·Full driving licence required.
