Project Manager –12-Month FTC(possibly longer)A leading organisation within the financial services sector based in South Dublin is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Transformation & Strategic Change team.Reporting to the Head of Transformation & Strategic Change, you will take full ownership of assigned projects, working closely with cross-functional business, IT, and third-party teams. The initial focus will be the delivery of a General Ledger replacement / core finance system transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of a General Ledger replacement project, from scope and benefits definition through to implementation and benefits realisation.Work closely with third-party solution providers, senior leaders, and internal project teams.Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and dependencies.Monitor and report on project progress, risks, issues, and changes, escalating where required.Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, business leads, and subject matter experts.Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure delivery to agreed scope and schedule.Produce high-quality project reports and communications for senior management, executive, and board-level audiences.Embed project management frameworks, tools, and governance, and run effective project meetings and ceremonies.Skills & ExperienceProven experience delivering at least one General Ledger or core finance system implementation.Highly organised, structured, and detail-oriented approach to project delivery.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience reporting to senior stakeholders.Expert user of MS PowerPoint and Excel.Delivery- and deadline-focused, with the ability to work autonomously.Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.Education & QualificationsThird-level qualification.Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).5–10 years' experience in full lifecycle project management, ideally within insurance or financial services.Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is advantageous.Experience using Jira for tracking and reporting is a plus.Package:80,000-€100, % completion bonus.
