Red D are recruiting a Group Project Accountant for a highly regarded Irish hotel group with multiple four-star properties across the country.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Ireland, with regular travel to hotels across the group.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ACA-qualified accountant with strong audit experience, hospitality industry background, and a track record in project work. You'll report to the Group CFO and lead a number of high-impact financial projects while supporting internal finance teams on control reviews, systems improvements and SOP development.
This role would suit someone with strong technical accounting skills and a proven ability to deliver change, support operational teams, and work effectively with regional finance leaders.
What You'll Be Doing
* Support the delivery of finance-related projects across the group, as directed by Group Head Office or Regional Finance
* Lead the design and implementation of internal control processes and standardised procedures
* Work directly with onsite hotel finance teams to assess current practices and identify areas for improvement
* Develop and implement new SOPs and provide training and guidance to local teams
* Troubleshoot process and system challenges, creating clear documentation and solutions
* Support the wider group in its financial transformation efforts
* Take ownership of ad hoc and value-add financial projects that may arise
* Travel across Ireland to group properties as required
What We're Looking For
* ACA-qualified accountant with a strong audit background
* Experience working in the hospitality industry is essential
* Project experience and/or exposure to multi-site operations
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Confident working independently and leading initiatives
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* Comfortable with systems, reporting tools, and process documentation
* Organised, detail-focused, and solutions-driven
