What You Will Do
Treasury’s Corporate Banking department is seeking a Senior Treasury Associate for the Liquidity Operations team. The successful candidate will handle cash positioning, wire transfer processing, and reporting for Prudential’s businesses.
Cash Management manages the firm’s short-term liquidity, including: preparing short-term cash investment calculations based on forecasts and historical trends, concentrating funds for investment, reconciling forecasts to actuals, analyzing variances, preparing cash flow reports, and liaising with banks and Prudential businesses.
What You Can Expect
* Calculating daily cash positions based on forecasts and historical data.
* Making investment decisions based on these forecasts and trends.
* Reconciling forecasted versus actual activity in investment and operating accounts daily.
* Preparing short-term cash flow projection reports.
* Collaborating with Prudential businesses to improve cash processing, forecasting, and bank account structures.
* Communicating with banks and businesses to resolve transaction and account issues.
* Initiating wire transfers for fund concentration and funding activities.
* Updating procedures and workflow documentation as needed.
* Conducting financial analysis and reporting for projects.
* Participating in cash management initiatives and projects.
What You Will Bring
* Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
* At least 2 years of relevant cash management or investment operations experience, preferably with Prudential.
* Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
* Excellent communication skills for interaction with partners, banks, and service providers.
* Sound business principles applied to daily activities and projects.
* Financial analysis skills, including trend analysis and variance analysis.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Interpersonal skills to build relationships within Treasury and with external partners.
* Flexibility to take on different roles and responsibilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
