Senior Consultant | Providing specialist engineering resources and packages of work
Overview:
We’re looking for a Project Manager with a solid mechanical background (ideally with hands-on experience in sprinkler systems) to lead the delivery of a major project in Dublin. This role is ideal for a proactive consultant with 5+ years of experience, confident in managing subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering strong commercial outcomes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full lifecycle of sprinkler system installation projects
* Collaborate closely with on-site teams and design professionals
* Supervise and coordinate multiple subcontractors across various disciplines
* Take responsibility for project budgeting, forecasting, and profit tracking
* Oversee manpower planning and resource deployment
* Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and QA/QC protocols
* Provide proactive progress and risk reporting to senior stakeholders
* Act as the mechanical lead on large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., Intel campuses, data centres, or energy sector builds)
Requirements:
* 2-3+ years’ experience in project management, ideally within sprinkler systems
* Strong foundation in mechanical engineering
* Degree preferred but not essential
* Proven track record of managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
* Previous experience on complex, high-spec projects (e.g., data centres, Intel) is a plus
* Willingness to travel both within Ireland and internationally
