About Your New Job
This
Client-Side Project Manager
role presents an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion. Reporting to a senior project lead, you will act as the client's representative, managing the full project lifecycle while coordinating consultants, contractors and building stakeholders.
The role suits a commercially aware project manager with strong technical knowledge of fit-out and building services, who enjoys working in a fast-paced consultancy environment and delivering projects in live, operational buildings.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage commercial fit-out, refurbishment and facilities-led capital projects from feasibility through to handover
* Act as the client's representative, safeguarding programme, cost, quality and risk objectives
* Coordinate and manage design teams, consultants and specialist advisors
* Lead pre-construction activities including design development, budgeting, procurement and programme planning
* Manage main contractors and specialist subcontractors throughout the construction phase
* Monitor site progress, programme milestones and quality standards
* Oversee compliance with building regulations, fire safety requirements and statutory approvals
* Coordinate works within occupied buildings, liaising closely with facilities management teams and building users
* Manage cost control, variations and value engineering initiatives
* Chair project meetings and provide regular progress and financial reports to clients
* Support commissioning, testing, snagging and project close-out processes
What You Will Need
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a client-side Project Manager or consultancy-based role
* A recognised third-level qualification in construction, engineering, project management or a related discipline
* Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out, refurbishment or facilities-led projects
* Strong technical understanding of building services and interior construction
* Excellent stakeholder, client and consultant management skills
* Experience managing projects in live or occupied environments
* Strong commercial awareness including cost control and procurement
* Familiarity with Irish building regulations and health & safety requirements
