NCAD Research Exhibition Co-ordinator - Expression of Interest

NCAD is seeking internal expressions of interest for a specified purpose project to co-ordinate an NCAD staff research exhibition in the NCAD Gallery in March 2026.
Hours of Work: Equivalent of 15 days work per annum, Hours/Days to be worked flexibly
Reporting To: NCAD Gallery Curator
Salary: Point 1 of Grade IV Salary Scale - €38,600 per annum pro-rata, i.e., €21.20 per hour
Post Duration: Specified purpose contract until April 2026.
Project: The NCAD staff research exhibition is planned for March 2026. The exhibition, which will result from an open call to staff, is being initiated as a collaboration between NCAD Research Office and NCAD Gallery. It will take place in NCAD Gallery and other locations across the Campus. The programme may include talks/performances/screenings and other related events.
The aims of the Project are to:

- To spotlight diverse staff research activity / practice across all schools;
- To create a context for shared conversations and presentations across disciplines;
- To create a context for events to which we invite external research partners;
- To highlight diverse staff research activity / practice for NCAD students;
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the NCAD Gallery Curator.
Key tasks will include:
* Supporting the Gallery Curator and NCAD Research Committee in collating material from the open call.
* Correspondence with staff following the confirmation of selected projects.
* Coordinate schedule for installation in consultation with Gallery Curator.
* Co-ordinate schedule of related events in consultation with the Gallery Curator
* Coordinate materials for press release/social media in consultation with Gallery Curator.
* Coordinate materials for invite/Gallery window in consultation with Gallery Curator
* Coordinate materials for NCAD / In Public / Gallery webpages in consultation with Gallery Curator
* On-site assistance in preparation of talks and events (AV, recording, set up, etc) .
* Coordinate the schedule for return of work to exhibitors in consultation with Gallery Curator.
