Job Title: IT Support Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join our technical support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants to grow within a fast-paced managed services environment.
About the Role:
* Act as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, email and ticketing system
* Log, track and update support tickets with accurate detail
* Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices
* Perform password resets, account administration and software installations
* Provide support for Microsoft 365 and common business applications
* Troubleshoot basic networking issues (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP)
* Escalate complex issues to Level 2 engineers with clear documentation
* Assist with onboarding and setup of equipment for new users
* Work closely with colleagues in a professional, customer-focused manner
Requirements:
* 6–12 months+ experience in an IT Support or Helpdesk role
* Must have experience working in an Irish MSP or Microsoft Partner
* Microsoft 365 administration and Active Directory experience is required
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365
* Basic networking understanding (IP, DNS, DHCP)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to follow procedures, log issues and work to SLA
* Must be based in Ireland and have a valid visa to work legally to work in Ireland
