Our client is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller based in their office in Galway. The Role Ideal candidate will be someone who can manage the Finance function for an entrepreneurial client with multiple business interests. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the role will include: Producing Monthly and Quarterly accounts Managing external relationships with banks, insurance brokers and auditors. Preparation of monthly and Quarterly forecasts. Ensuring VAT and RCT returns are on time and accurate Preparation of Annual Budget Liaising with the Managing Director on business strategy and the review of Financial and Operational performance Working with Accounts Payable team to make sure invoices posted correctly Taking ownership for standardisation and process optimisation Ensure that the payroll function is efficient and accurate Continuous improvement of processes and controls Working with the other functional teams to implement change Proficient in Microsoft office and knowledge of accountancy packages Good systems experience Requirements; 3 5 years PQE in industry, preferably construction industry Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Ambitious to grow their career and willing to work hard to match that ambition Friendly and a team player Willing to go the extra mile to get the job done Passionate about finance innovation and the future of finance Good Systems experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products Strong attention to detail Apply now with CV for more information on the role available
