Intermediate / Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Co. The Role As an Intermediate / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual elements of a range of high-value projects. Youll work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with clients, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors. Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of ongoing projects. Measure, price, negotiate, and agree budgets and costs for variations to project scope. Verify project costs and resolve any related queries. Attend pre-contract meetings and ensure timely completion of agreed actions. Prepare and maintain up-to-date procurement schedules. Issue tenders, analyse subcontractor quotations, and make award recommendations. Draft and process subcontractor orders and payments. Visit project sites to measure and value completed works. Carry out cost and value reconciliations to provide project performance updates. Support contract and site management teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Mentor and assist junior quantity surveyors as required. Manage other commercial duties as needed. What Youll Need: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience within the construction industry. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
