TechHeads has partnered with a market leader in the airline e-commerce industry. They are expanding their team as they undergo a digital modernisation while continuing their work in developing first of its kind greenfield solutions.
This is a permanent role for a Customer Architect who is technically proficient with a strong focus on customer orientation and communication. Your work will be split between designing solutions and client interactions. The client engagement will not be sales focused and could potentially involve opportunities to travel as you present you solutions to Board/C-Level stakeholders.
You will be fully engrained with the projects you work on, as you will be involved in the end-to-end development process. Allowing you to gain huge experience in every aspect of the development journey as your work comes to life, moving from concepts and designs to development and implementation.
You will be using a modern tech stack including Java, Spring Boot and AWS as well as gaining exposure to modern AI technology. Giving you an opportunity to further develop your skillset with up-to-date technologies while working on cutting edge projects. The solutions you create with this tech stack will be rolled out on an enterprise level, allowing your work to have an impact on a global industry.

Key Responsibilities:
* Take a leadership role within the implementation team to deliver our product per customer requirements, driving architectural decisions and best practices – delivering on budget and on time.
* Provides consultancy services to our customers as they use our product.
* Manage the customer solutions & system architecture.
* Translate business requirements into system level design and detailed technical architecture documents in a clear, professional manner.
* Identify product enhancements required and actively inform product management of the business value.
* Work with our Operations team to analyse the performance of our systems in a production environment and evaluate enhancements to our product for performance and cost benefits
* Contribute and agree on a strategic customer roadmap in collaboration with the leadership team.
* Contribute to the long-term development of our product suite.
* Identify opportunities for and drive Continuous Improvement activities.
* Must be able and willing to travel to other Datalex offices and Customer sites periodically.
Requirements:
* 8+ Years in Software Engineering
* 2+ Years Experience as a Customer Architect/Similar Role
* Solution Design Experience in Ecommerce Retail/High Volume Transaction Services
* Client Facing Experience – Presenting/Calling/Documentation (C Level)
* Java – 5 + Years Experience
* Spring Boot
* Cloud Based Application – Azure, GCP, AWS
* Databases – Mongo DB, Oracle, PostgreSQL
