Job Role : Tour Guide ( Part time Hours) As a Tayto Tour Guide you will guide visitors through our fully operational factory. Walk with them as you follow the spuds journey down the production line, through the flavouring station and to the packing line, ensuring every visitor has a memorable visit, taking in the sights, sounds and tastes of our iconic crisps journey. LOCATION: Tayto Castle, Tandragee JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Tayto Tour Guide you will welcome visitors to Tayto, before leading them on guided, informative tour of the Tayto factory On a typical day, you will: Greet and Welcome visitors to Tayto. Deliver an excellent visitor experience as you guide visitors around the Tayto Factory Carry out the role of our Brand Ambassador Mr Tayto Play a key part in ensuring Tayto Tours offers a first class visitor experience What will we need from you? Delivery of an excellent visitor experience Enjoy working with young people and/or community groups Passion to develop your knowledge of the Tayto brand Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills and knowledge Support, Supervision and Training Support, supervision and training will be provided by Tayto Group Ltd. To equip Tayto Tour Guides with the skills and knowledge for the role, Tayto Group Ltd will provide full training in the production process, Tayto history and Tour guiding. All Tayto Tour Guides will report directly to the Tours and PR Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: Conducting Tours of approx. 1.5 hours in length. Greet and welcome Tour Groups upon their arrival at Tayto. Deal skilfully with a diversity of visitors under a variety of circumstances Conduct educational tours for school children Perform any clerical duties associated with the role Perform any housekeeping duties associated with the role. Ensure the group's safety at all times on-site, full training will be given on fire evacuation and first aid policy Perform the duties of Mr Tayto Maintain the gift shop including taking payment, cash handling and stock maintenance Ensure all visitors adhere to Taytos Health and Safety Policies, ensuring all visitors wear the required PPE May be called upon to conduct occasional Tours of Tayto and facilities (behind the scenes) for VIP and special visiting groups Perform the duties of Mr Tayto and/or product sampling at events and exhibitions throughout NI on an ad hoc basis during weekends and occasional evenings. Occasional driving of company van to and from events/exhibitions. Your Key Attributes: Enjoy interacting and meeting people Personable, reliable and professional with good oral communication skills.
