The Department of Anatomy and Regenerative Medicine seeks a Lecturer in Gross Anatomy and Soft Robotics to provide exceptional teaching, research, and service.
Job Description
Teaching responsibilities include participating in the administration and delivery of current teaching programmes, teaching modalities, and assessment in Anatomy and Regenerative Medicine for undergraduate students. The successful candidate will demonstrate energy, initiative, and excellent organisation and communication skills.
* Securing funding to sustain a research group of postgraduate students and other research staff, with resultant publications in journals of high quality/impact.
* Participating in the development of RCSI's teaching and learning strategy including the effective use of technology-enhanced learning.
* Fostering industry-academia interactions and commercialization of research findings.
The person specification includes:
* A PhD degree or equivalent in Anatomy, Biomedical Science, or Bioengineering.
* Specialisation in medical device development at postgraduate level.
* A strong foundation in gross anatomy and cell biology at undergraduate level.
