Title: Full Stack Engineer (Python, AWS)
Start date: ASAP
Contract: 12 Months
Location: Galway, Ireland
Type: Hybrid (1 week onsite, 3 weeks remote)
Salary:€300 -€375 per day
Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain advanced analytics solutions to process structured and unstructured datasets at scale
* Rapidly prototype and deliver data-driven tools to support investment research
* Collaborate with quant researchers, analysts, and other engineers in a highly agile, product-oriented team
* Drive architecture and technical design discussions, balancing scalability and speed
* Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments
* Participate in on-call rotation and own the reliability of your solutions
Experience and qualifications required:
* 10+ years of enterprise development experience
* Advanced skills in Python, including data libraries like Pandas or NumPy
* Strong understanding of RDBMS, SQL/PLSQL, and data processing pipelines
* Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native tools
* Solid grounding in object-oriented programming and data structures
* Experience building Angular or React SPA applications (a strong plus!)
* Familiarity with extracting data from REST APIs, working across both Linux and Windows environments
* Comfort working on multiple tracks simultaneously, owning solutions end-to-end
* A background in migrating applications to the cloud is an added advantage
