Overview
* Lead the commercial management of a multi-unit apartment scheme in Cork, overseeing financial and contractual aspects from procurement to final account.
Responsibilities
* Manage cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the project.
* Prepare and manage tender packages, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration.
* Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations to ensure commercial targets are met.
* Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Prepare reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts.
* Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations.
Requirements
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
* Minimum 5+ years' post-graduate experience in residential projects with a main contractor or developer.
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
* Proven track record in managing multi-unit housing/apartment developments.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
